Description

The cases of the "Seasons by Anastasiya" line are a product exclusively thought for the most demanding musicians, to protect and hold their most precious violin. The products of the line, born through the collaboration between the violinist Anastasiya Petryshak and B&C, first came to life because of Petryshak’s desire to interpret and express the famous Four Seasons by Vivaldi, not only in music but also in image. «I felt a strong desire to paint the Seasons, to give colour to its notes and to shape the sonnet’s words» the artist says.

Four original patterns, designed by the violinist, one for each season and printed on the cases by Bogaro& Clemente. One hundred pieces limited edition, completely handcrafted by B&C, numbered and signed by Petryshak.

The third violin case is dedicated to Winter.

On the front of the violin case, Anastasiya highlights the freezing cold of the winter. The ice and the snow are spread over the background. We can see some figures stamping their feet to warm them up and some others losing their balance by slipping on the ice and falling on the ground. The harsh winter leaves no escape route. In this design, Anastasiya shares her vision of the sonnet and depicts the music that Vivaldi used to describe the season: horrid wind, walking on ice, falling to the ground, chattering teeth...

The back of the violin case represents the quieter and more pleasant elements of the Winter season, mainly based on the second movement of the concerto. The scene, definitely more serene, describes a homy atmosphere with the presence of the wooden house in which one can expect a lit fireplace and inner peace.

Both scenes are framed by the ice that breaks and makes us feel the rigidity of the Winter season.

We also find several musical fragments chosen from the manuscript and reported on the drawing to highlight the main parts of the story. All music fragments are accompanied by the words taken from the sonnet.

Anastasiya also inserted a violin in the main scene, protected by a violin case in its historical form and held by a figure who represents her.

The colours of this season are cold and of rather light tones: Silvery white, anthracite grey and pearl grey, blue - in different shades, light blue and others.

«For the creation of this season I was inspired by the words of the Sonnet that accompanies Vivaldi's Winter, "Agghiacciato tremar tra nevi algenti, Al Severo Spirar d'orrido Vento, Correr battendo i piedi ogni momento..."» says the violinist Anastasiya Petryshak, «the goal was to transmit through images what is written between Vivaldi's notes filtered through my interpretation of his music».

Crafted in carbon and with local and structural reinforcements with the internal soul in cork which serves to improve the thermal insulation and rigidity.

The perimetrical seal, exclusive design by B&C, is dust-proof and waterproof as per class IP-67. Made with two carrying handles and mounting hooks for shoulder strap with double combination locking. Inside, on-top of the lid there is a fastening system for four bows. On the inside next to where the violin would be positioned, you will also find a practical drawer with lid, serving as storage for the back support of the violin and other accessories. There is also a three slot penholder. The microfibre cover is wrapped in silk to add a luxury and protective touch to the violin.

Thus, every individual case of the "Seasons by Anastasiya" line is "the perfect home for your violin", as the artist tells: «I fell in love with Bogaro&Clemente products. After a few weeks of work, sharing and confronting different prototypes, the first product dedicated to Summer, Music, Vivaldi and to life was ready. We thought at every little detail to have the violin felt loved and cared for!»

The technology of Bogaro&Clemente is enhanced by the exclusive and original illustration designs by Petryshak herself, used for the exterior and for the protective cover embellished by the premium silk quality.
